Well if you never did anything with the files in he trashbin, why not copy the whole set to an USB stick, then empty the trash, and sort it out when you have time. IMHO if you have them so long and did nothing with them why not trash them. Or sort then by time arrived and delete the oldest ones, or sort them by kind and do the same.
