As we spent more time in the campaign, after our first look, we could see that the battles show a slowdown, even with the patch installed. Pulling the trigger on any weapon, especially fully automatic ones, causes the frame-rate to drop until the magazine empties.
In short, the moment you need solid performance, it will be taken away from you. Taking down enemies with grenades makes it even more unstable, to the point that it becomes too erratic to hold your target reticle on an enemy for more than a second. Any combat with weapons more powerful than a simple pistol seems to bring down performance.
Then there is stuttering, a real bane of all console versions, even with patch 1. It is a phenomenon that occurs at the worst moments: dodging enemies, switching weapons or simply switching to a new area, will significantly drop the frame-rate.
When you arrive in a new location, in fact, you will see a warning that will notify you of the discovery, usually activating a strong drop in the performances.
